As an Ordained Unitarian Universalist minister I work to create a wedding service that honors the life-long commitment of two people. The ceremony we will create together will place the emphasis on the couple getting married and on the community who supports them as they commit to a loving partnership. Your ceremony will be crafted carefully to include aspects of your lives and personalities which will announce to the world who you are both as individuals and as a unique couple.
A wedding is surely one of life’s most significant and wonderful events celebrating the love that two people have for each other. To create a ceremony that reflects this momentous occasion I will first meet with the couple to begin to understand what they are looking for in a ceremony. We will have discussions both about what you would like to see in the ceremony as well as who are as individuals, what you love most about the person you are about to marry, and most importantly your vision of life moving forward together.
The ceremony we craft together will use religious language that you are comfortable with as well as incorporating in any significant prayers, poems, readings or rituals that you would like to be a part of your big day. As a Unitarian Universalist minister, I welcome participation by all persons without regard to race, ethnicity, gender, ability, affectional or sexual orientation, economic status, or national origin. And because UU’s are not required to adhere to any particular religious beliefs or creeds this allows me to be open to a wide span of cultures and traditions.
Rates:
- My fees are based on a sliding scale depending on a number of factors. As a Unitarian Universalist minister and member of our professional association, we have a minimum standard fee for ministerial services. All my fees are negotiable depending on extenuating circumstances and financial situations. Please contact me for more details.
